This recipe takes the open faced sandwich to a whole new level! Savory and a little sweet, it’s got a dash of gourmet flair and is completely craveworthy. Let’s start with glazing turkey breasts with zesty Italian dressing and roasting them in the oven until they’re perfectly juicy. Add flavorful stuffing, bacon, cheese, and a few other choice ingredients and you’ve got the makings of a sandwich that defines deliciousness. 

Layer these ingredients and a creamy, tangy homemade spread on focaccia bread, bake in the oven, and top with cranberry sauce and toasted almonds. Crispy, savory, sweet, and crunchy—these are all the makings of the perfect sandwich.

Roasted Turkey Breast & Stove Top Stuffing Open Faced Sandwich

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 120 minutes

Ingredients

4 lbs boneless turkey breast

1 1/2 cups Kraft Real Mayonnaise (SWS# 37692)

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (and zest)

3 qt Stove Top Chicken Flavored Stuffing Mix (SWS# 07874)

1 lb bacon (cooked and crumbled)

2 cups celery (1/4 inch diced)

4 1/2 cups American cheese (shredded)

24 slices of focaccia bread

2 cups cranberry sauce

1 cup almonds (toasted and chopped)

1 1/2 cups Italian salad dressing

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F  
  • Place turkey breasts on racks in roasting pans. Brush generously with Italian dressing.
  • Bake for approximately 2 hours.
  • Mix together KRAFT Real Mayonnaise, lemon juice, and orange zest.
  • Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Prepare Stove Top Stuffing as directed on the package and stir in bacon.
  • Slice chilled turkey breast into ¼” thick slices.

Assembling & Baking the Sandwiches

  • Slice focaccia bread and assemble the open faced sandwiches.
  • Place the sandwiches onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. 
  • Bake at 350°F for approx. 4 to 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and stuffing is
  • heated through.
  • After the sandwiches are done cooking, top each with 2 tbsp prepared cranberry sauce and toasted almonds.
